 Describe your work: What are you doing?

As an architect of Organic Media ThoughtShift, I develop and implement marketing strategies of organic to various clients from various industries.

 There are three core aspects to my role: Analysis, Strategy & Operations

 Analytics is at the beginning of everything that I do, in order to help my clients achieve what they want from organic traffic, I need to understand their data and look for the landscape to determine the best SEO strategies to help them meet their goals.

 I love it when clients are as excited about them as my strategy, and work with them on the operational side, helping them implement my recommendations and spotting new growth opportunities.

 I specialize in Technical SEO, I mean our clients optimize the website for search engine crawling and indexing, and to improve their search presence. It includes many technical processes including SEO audit, linking, canonicalization, image optimization and mark-up scheme, among other things. With my knowledge of the Technical SEO, I was given the opportunity to work on numerous client projects, which is always an interesting challenge.

 What kind of skills do you need to be effective in your role?

Being analytical and have a thorough understanding of all aspects of digital marketing is the key, as SEO is integrated with everything related sites, from the code for the page content, but also to inform other business decisions, such as targeting new markets or product naming.

 Being research minded and constantly learning about the ever-changing world of SEO and marketing as a whole, it is very important to stay on top of your game.

 project management and organizational skills are also important, because there are a lot of clients and projects to stay on top.

 There are also some personal characteristics that are needed to be effective (and fun) as SEO; tenacity and patience is very important.

 SEO can be challenging, there are a lot of test and study, and the results can also depend on external events such as a search engine algorithm updates ... meaning sometimes reversed assumptions and efforts are not always fruitful. Therefore, it is important to survive and find a solution to the problem.

 How did you get where you are now?

I found SEO for my Marketing degree in France. At the time I was given the opportunity to help agents SEO provides SEO activity basis, and I  Digital Marketing Companies in Southampton was hooked (my geeky side can finally shine!). At that time I read everything I could find about SEO, which today is a relatively new topic in the digital marketing landscape of France.

 I moved to the UK in 2012 and since then has worked for various companies in various sectors, including hospitality, education and not-for-profit. progress my career led me to become an expert in digital marketing, eventually becoming Marketing Manager for education start-up, before moving to the digital strict roles for a leading UK membership organization.

 Aside from my work, I have also developed my own freelance SEO activities, helping B2B and B2C clients grow their online visibility and achieve more from their online platform, whether a website or social media profile. I help the development of the new company, backed start-ups to gain visibility and established leading companies targeting new markets with their SEO campaigns.
